Monday 7th September 2020: Dart's Farm
A small socially-distanced group of us met at Dart's Farm to explore their sculpture trail. Initially, the weather didn't look too promising (it was actually drizzling), but fortunately it improved steadily through the afternoon and we enjoyed a good time together. The participants were invited to send in up to three photos for the Gallery.

Sunday 11th October 2020: Stone Lane Gardens
A socially distanced group of us met up for a very pleasant photo amble at the beautiful Stone Lane Gardens. Plant Heritage has awarded this five-acre garden the accolades of both "National Collection" and "Scientific Status" in recognition of the excellent work they are doing. It also has the distinction of being an RHS Partner Garden. In addition to all this, it is the home of a lovely sculpture collection, which changes every year. You can find more information about the gardens on the web-site of Stone Lane Gardens.
Participants were invited to send in up to three photos from the photo amble. The artists who created the sculptures are identified in brackets where possible.

Wednesday 26th May 2021: Knightshayes
Knightshayes is a very beautiful National Trust property near Tiverton, featuring a splendid Gothic-revival house, extensive gardens, woods and parkland, and a very large walled kitchen garden. At the time of our photo-amble, there were buttercups everywhere and the rhododendrons were in full bloom, so there were many beautiful scenes to delight the eyes of photographers! However, the photo-amble didn't go entirely according to plan, because the date originally scheduled was impractical because of heavy rain. The revised date of 26th May was sunny and warm and the five participants on that date had a great time. A few of the photos on this Gallery page come from a separate visit on a different day.
