25th May 2023: Wabi Sabi
Wabi Sabi is an ancient Japanese concept that people often refer to, and we thought it would be interesting to have a session on it. If you look on Wikipedia, you find that wabi sabi is a group of ideas around transient beauty, imperfection, and incompleteness, and the famous example is cherry blossom, which brings happiness by its beauty, but also sadness because it passes away so quickly. We invited our members to show us photos illustrating these ideas.
